Shuttered affections, I started off confused with the name of the book I didn't understand the title but I kept an open mind. Once I realized it was a sexy student teacher romance I couldn't wait to get to it.
Juliana is driving around a packed parking lot trying to find parking. She finally manages to find a spot when some jerk in a tiny car steals it and just shrugs her off when she yells at him. No way could she have imagined that the good looking jerk and her would soon meet again. After driving around again she finds a new spot but she is now late for class. She walks in to class only to realize that the jerk who stole her parking spot is standing in front of her class scolding her for being late. At this point I could practically see the sparks flying and I could feel the sexual tension between these two.
Aiden is the replacing Juliana's photography professor, yes ladies we have a hot new professor who might be "double" the trouble. Right from the get go we can see the attraction he and Juliana feel towards each other although they both know it is wrong they can't help the need they have to be around each other. Both characters have deep dark secrets that could ruin the relation they are building. Once their secrets are reviled all that's left is for Aiden to help Juliana heal, or so we think. Juliana's past is still chasing her and not only threatening her but all the ones she loves.
I can't wait to see what will happen in book 2 of the Cornerstone series thankfully that will be my next book.
